Keen Design
/Design Thinking
As many technology-oriented organizations transform into customer-oriented organizations, an outside-in perspective on products and services in an organization becomes paramount.
Why Design Thinking
With the digital transformation and an Agile way of working, the (strategic) use of (UX) design has increased in many organizations.
A condition for adding value in the organization through this commitment is the extent to which 'Design Thinking' is supported organization-wide.
This training gives non-designers insight and tools on how 'Design Thinking' can be used. Not only to further optimize collaboration with designers, but also to apply this within your own (non-designer) role.
Our Approach
Two principles
There are various design thinking processes available. However, in our view, there are two principles in design thinking?
- The customer/user perspective guides every change or intervention (the what)
- The design process is iterative in nature (the how)
These two principles form the basis of the training.
Deep dive and practical application
For each of these principles, participants are offered an in-depth explanation based on a theoretical framework and at the same time, with the help of their own case studies, they are given sufficient space to experience their practical application.
In-company
In what form do we offer this training program?
Basically, the training consists of two half-days in which both principles are discussed:
'The Client Perspective'
'Validate to Iterate'
In each of these half-days, the frameworks are discussed and discussed with each other and with the trainer in the context of their own case studies.
We often add a third half-day ('Follow Up') in which participants analyze their own case under supervision based on the knowledge from the training.
Of course we can adapt this working method as needed. We do think that it is important that there is enough room for interaction between participants and the application of knowledge in the context of your own organization.
